WORKING DOG WEEKEND
WORKING DOG WEEKEND WITH
BRANDON and SHARON WILSON
Our August event is a
special treat for those folks who have their heart in schutzhund! The
CAVB is thrilled to announce that Brandon and Sharon Wilson will be
travelling up from Kentucky for a weekend seminar/training/judging event.
On Friday August 6th,
Saturday August 7th, and Sunday August 8th they will be holding a
training seminar, as well as judging BOTH levels of the BFD 1 and 2!
The seminar will consist of
tracking, obedience, and protection. All three phases will be worked
each day, as well as any problem areas participants may have. Puppies
are welcome!!!!
Equipment needed for this weekend;
-
Training collar - preferably
a pinch style collar.
-
Treats of some kind - hot
dogs work well.
-
Crate - all dogs to be
crated when unattended. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-
Leash - * NO FLEXI LINES* -
you will need a long line of some sort - and a leash about 6 feet long.

E-collars - if you have an
E-Collar you are welcome to bring it. We will be demonstrating how to
introduce dogs to the E-Collar. You do not have to have an E-Collar
to participate.

Reward toys - if your dog(s)
work for toys be sure to bring them.
This event will be held up
in Muskoka at Granite Ridge Campground, pre-registration is
required through the CAVB. Campers/tents are allowed, please
indicate when booking if you are in need of hydro/water sites and how
many people will be in attendance with you.
This monumental weekend is a
fantastic deal.
Fees:
Camp sites - $15.00 CDN/person/night
3 - Day Training fees
including meals $150.00 CDN or $250.00 for two people
Menu: Lunch/dinner/person
consisting of the following items: Chicken Breasts, Sausages, Pulled
Pork Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chili ( vegetarian and meat),
cold salads.
BFD testing each level is
$30.00 CDN/dog

months. High Scoring male at the appraisal.

representing the USA at the Rottweiler World Championship in the
Czech Republic. Highest scoring dog on the USA's team.
