Dora as a puppy was strong, watchful, tail up over the back eager for this world and all that was in it.

She is pictured below; about 10 weeks old in the water of a 300 acre quarry; stalking the water bugs.

NEW ~ NEW ~ DORA HAS HER OWN BLOG!!!!

If you've been following Dora's blog; you've seen some more pics of her development. Needless to say; she's turning into a fine young lady.

As of this writing she is 17 mos. old and becoming quite the stunning dog. It will soon be time for us to find her a partner and produce the next generation.

Proudfoot's Tad Bit O Tina -- Dora boerboel loves her kids

We have our eye on a few worthy males and will update this page and Dora's blog when we have decided who she will be bred to.

If you live in Ontario; it is possible that you have seen Dora in person. She is a frequent traveller to all parts of Ontario. She spent a long weekend up in Algonquin; performing her duties capably as camp dog; defender of the camp site area. She has also been seen on Lake Huron; where she spent a week in a rental cabin (yes good dogs get to go to these places), guarding her kids, her Gran and her owner. She has been seen at various Ontario Reining Horse Association venues; sitting in the bleachers watching the horse show. She is trailer guard for Rebecca Dayboll, Non-Pro and her friend; Dora's owner.  Only a calm, capable dog is permitted at these sites and in these venues. She has also made a show appearance at the Toronto Sportsmen's Show; where she displayed her genial attitude before 1000s allowing herself to be admired and petted throughout the three day event. She kept her calm to the very end; a wonderful example especially since she was 9 mos. old at the time.

If this is the type of dog you are looking for; or you have any further questions regarding the Boerboel as a breed; do not hesitate to contact Jennifer  or Marcella with any questions.

Dora's puppies will only go to specially selected homes. Puppies will be going to homes that want personal protection dogs, schutzhund homes, family guardians, farm dogs; all versatile animals that are what the Boerboel should be.

Depending on the circumstance, we could be convinced to part with a breeding quality pup; just depends on what type of home the puppy would be going to.

As always; do not hesitate to contact us; we are interested to hear from you and look forward to speaking with you about the Boerboel.

Thanks;

Jennifer and Dora
