First,
a big thank-you for the invite from Trevor Kelba and his friend
Derek Provencal. They were in my Aapex class on March Break and told
me about Bridge 21's gig at Moe's. I definitely support home-grown
TALENT and always support my students in their extra-curricular
activities, so thought, hey, I'll check them out. Definitely time
well spent. They were fun. Camaraderie, energy, balance, talent,
cohesion, diversity, talent, a sax. I enjoyed their music,
their very young and energetic fan base enjoyed their music, their
parents and parents friends enjoyed their music.
Bridge
21 rocks, Bridge 21 kicks ass, Go boys from Bridge 21
It
was standing room only when they opened, and stayed that way nearly
to the end.
Quite
amazing for such young gentlemen (sorry boys) to satisfy such a
diverse crowd.
Truly
what had me was their ability for every song they did, to make it
their own. Loverboys Working for the Weekend was quite well
done (hey I'm old; if you can redo my 60/70/80s rock and make me like
it - KUDOS to you)!
They
also successfully covered all my current favourite top 10 hard rock songs.
Keep
kickin it boys, I like your style.
